زهرة اللوتس الزرقاء

I was skeptical about the psychoactive side, but steeping a few of these before bed gives this gentle, dreamy calm that's hard to describe. The azure petals alone make it worth keeping on the shelf.

The dried flowers are surprisingly fragrant, with a sweet, almost honey-like scent that fills the room as they steep. I love using a small pinch in my evening tea blend for a gentle, calming ritual.

The petals are a deeper blue than the photos suggested, and steeping them in warm water before bed gives a gentle, floaty calm that doesn't knock me out. I've been using it with a splash of honey, since on its own it tastes pretty earthy.
