植物を自然環境の中で見て、触れて、嗅いで、味わうことに勝るものはありません。ここが本当のハーブの知識の始まりです。葉の形、茎の構造、香り、生息地によって植物を見分けるスキルを身につけましょう。これらのスキルは一生役立ちます。

Walking through the woods with someone who actually knows the plants beats any book or app. I finally can tell yarrow from its lookalikes, and the instructor kept it hands-on the whole time instead of lecturing. Three hours flew by.
I've taken a few plant classes online, but walking a trail with someone pointing out actual medicinal plants is a whole different thing. We ID'd maybe a dozen species in two hours, and I finally understand how to tell the lookalikes apart. Best way to learn this stuff, hands down.
Finally getting out of the house and into the woods. Seeing the plants in their actual habitat made every identifier stick far better than any app could. I left able to recognize the medicinals growing around my own neighborhood.
