Fresh Lions Mane from Tha Alkaline Hour offers a straightforward option for those seeking this distinctive mushroom. Presented as a single standard unit, it is ready for your consideration.
Arrived as one solid, nicely trimmed cluster with no browning or mush on the edges. I sliced it thick and seared it in butter, and it held its shape beautifully instead of turning to water like some I've bought. Genuinely fresh, and it lasted five days in the fridge without going slimy.
I was surprised how firm and clean the lions mane looked when I opened the box, no mush or browning at all. It sliced up nicely for a quick pan sear with butter and garlic, and the texture held together way better than the dried stuff I used to buy.
The lions mane arrived fresh with no bruising, and the texture was firm enough to slice cleanly for pan-searing. I used one unit across two meals and it held its shape nicely.
