Ordering this felt like a genuine gamble and it paid off — my tower came in at about 9cm with a deep purple band running through it. I've been placing it by my window in the morning and the light through the point is unreal.
I was a little nervous letting someone else pick for me, but the tower I got has this deep purple banding running through it that I keep staring at. The 5 to 11cm size is perfect for my windowsill, and knowing it came from over 100 varieties makes me want to order again just to see what shows up.
I ordered two and ended up with completely different stones, which was the whole appeal for me. Both towers have clean terminations and sit nicely on my shelf at around 8cm. For the price, getting a mystery pick from over 100 varieties is a fun gamble.
